Graphic designers and artists can explore a concept using:

• Gestures that drop in placeholder text, basic shapes and editable text boxes.

• Guides and grids to align and work with spacing controls.

• Free fonts and from Typekit or third-party fonts installed on their device.

BUZZ FROM USERS AND PRESS

“This is one of the best apps on my phone.” – George Butler

“Overall I love the progress this app has made. I’ve used it for professional layouts for web design ideas and it’s a great mobile design tool to get things going in a project for rapid iterations in the starting stages.” – Ben MacKay

“Firstly, I think Comp is a great application, so many times those sketches on paper are so much easier for expressing ideas and pop! This app turns that into a reality. I love having the app in my pocket so I can trial something if I have an idea while walking or commuting.” – Andrew Paul Hayward

Pros and cons of Adobe Comp app for iPhone and iPad

Adobe Comp app good for

I would love to be able to draw vertical lines as well as diagonal lines. Further more Id like to make annotations / annotation bubbles. The minimum Id need for that is a possibility to draw arrows.
Its a good app to speed up the process of your job. Specially if you have a creative cloud account. However the app sometimes gets too slow and there are some bug too so its better to send the file to you mac/PC to finish it.
Very nice. Thanks for that. Please, in the next update, make a option to add artboarts in a single file, so i can make a document with multiple pages, like a magazine, and export into indesign.
App with a huge potential! Loved the interface! Please continue improving! :)
Adobe Comp CC is the design tool I have always wanted, allowing me to do precise wireframes as easy as sketching, and then allowing me to refine them as needed. Very positively impressed and hopeful for the future of this tool.
Not only is it easy to quickly express myself and communicate with developers, but I literally think about and look forward to the next time I can get my iPad out and use Adobe Comp.

Some bad moments

This app could be nice, but its full of bugs, its just like testing a beta. The app crashes often or lags if there is more than 20 things on the project. It is also most of the time impossible to open the keyboard to edit the text fields. I could understand if they were little bugs that came up with the last update, but this is not the case : they are here since a long time, and they are still not patched. Im starting to think that Adobe really f*cked up since they decided to make cloud-computing apps.
I want to use this app to mockup an app layout, but I want/need to be able to see all the comps in one screen, as multiple artboards. If I could then export into Illustrator or Photoshop for further work, that would be even better. I love the speed and simplicity of the gesture-based workflow and I hope they keep expanding it too with more gestures. Until theres support for multiple screens in one project, this isnt good for mobile designs in my opinion, as all the screens are too disparate as different projects.
The very low quality export as jpg or PDF forces you to buy other Adobe products to make this useful
Ive installed and deleted this app on my iPad Pro four times already. Each time I think I have a use for it I find out it doesnt do that. It is so feature and function anemic that even the things it does do, it does with such lack of options that comping on the back of my iPad with a good graphite pencil is more feature rich and flexible. Im sure I will install it a few more times and delete it a few more times before I learn that this thing under promises and under delivers.
Hello! I have Adobe Comp on iPad and illustrator on my computer. File doesnt send to illustrator. (From iPad to computer) :(
This used be ok on the iPad Pro, but now I am not able to use it at all. Crashes every time I try to open the app. What are they doing at Adobe head office?
